Hey Mama Wolf Skadi Merino d'Arles Worsted 2 - sport Hand-turned from found and foragedLike its lighter weight sibling Mokosh, Skadi is spun from Merino d'Arles, a rare breed from the south of France. These sheep produce fleeces consisting of very fine (21 micron), high crimp fibrespurportedly the softest wool in Europe! Here, this wonderful fibre is spun into a medium weight yarn with a 3 ply structure. Its extra twist results in crisp stitch definition and extra bounce, all while preserving the unbelievable softness of Merino d'Arles.
